Was at a sizeable party... still a little drunk now that I'm home but anyhow. I, being nice guy that I am, stopped off at McDonalds before we moved the party from the bar to the house. Orignally, was going to buy food myself but thought, "What the hell." So, I ordered food for everyone. 10 sausage egg and cheese mcgriddles, 10 egg and cheese, and a few other odd and ends for the hell of it. Well, I come up to the drive through with my mastercard in hand and go to hand it over.
The guy at the window asks if I have cash. I'm thinking now, "Sh!T!!!!" but I know this place takes cards since I stop here and pick up breakfast every so often. I say, "nope" and was expecting to leave right then and there.
Instead the guy says, "Well, our credit card system resets once a day and when that happens it makes ready for the new day and we can't run anything, so we just have to give this too you since it takes about 10 minutes before it comes up."
So I get about $30 in food from McDonalds FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
