Hey, guess what? It is. Outside of a couple 360 exclusives, I feel very content with a PS3. I'd feel similarly if I had gone 360 only.

If you were to have started with a PS3 and bought mostly PS3 games, you'd probably have the 360 collecting dust. This is how it worked out in my case.

Actually my biggest tie to the 360 is all my friends game on Xbox Live, so PS3 would probably suite me fine for single player games, however I don't think I'd get nearly the enjoyment out of it. Really nothing Sony did, all my friends gravitated towards the original Xbox with Halo and we all pretty much upgraded to 360s at one point or the other.

I like what MS is doing with the Xbox and Zune, with the only downside being the horrible hardware. However I feel that MS is fixing their hardware flaws faster than Sony is fixing their consoles flaws (PSN and Dashboard integration imo).

As I said my biggest tie to the 360 is something that won't change anytime soon, and I don't think the PS3 sucks as much as my OP made it sound.

Also I HATE the PS3 controller, but that's just me.

Jasper appears to have solved most if not all of the 360 problems. I haven't been hearing about people having problems with Jasper 360s...at least not RROD or E74.

FWIW, I had an E74 error on my Jasper. So I doubt that Jasper has fixed all the problems, though it seems to (so far) have been much less prone to failure compared to Xenon/Zephyr.

Yeah, that's an issue. All my friends have a PS3. Not that they play with me anyway.
