YAWT: What should I do with my wife and WoW?

My wife and I each have our own copy of the game, World of Warcraft, and our own computer to play on. The other day while our son was playing on her account she created a character on mine. Normally this wouldn't be a problem but this new character on my account is the one she wants to play now. She is constantly kicking me off my account to play her character leaving no choice but to play a new character on her account. We both have characters we play together but this Gnome is her favorite character and I don?t have a character on her account on that server I want to play, plus she plays this character two to three times more than I have time to play so it's not fun to play with her because her Gnome is several levels higher than my character.

Should I kick her off my account so I can play my characters when I want or should I just create new characters on her account until the novelty wears off?

my wife and kids watch quite a bit when I play...in fact, it's become a big deal with my daughter, who is 6, to ask "are you going to play your game tonight?"

I don't think you can petition GMs to move characters to different accounts or servers unfortunately...

The sooner one of you gives up his/her character the better. Early levels are fast. Probably whoever has the most time put into a character should get to keep it, so it looks like her account is now yours and vice versa.

You're lucky to have things like this to work out with a chick, haha.

Its your computer. Lay down the law and kick her off. Thats why she has her own computer, after all. Playing on yours defeats the entire purpose of her having her own.

You can't do much about it. Start a new character on her game if she wants to play on your game. Or tell her to start a new character on hers. She can start a gnome character on her copy as well, can't she? And you can be level 10 in about an hour if you play hard. Tell her to quit being such a woman, and remind her that woman came from the rib of a man, then tell her to make you a sandwich rib-woman. Tell her you would slap her, but you don't want to break a rib.
Make all kind of rib comments about her. After all, she is just a woman.

If her char is still below level 10, then I think she should make a nearly identical char on her account. Then you can maybe help her level up that char quickly to where the previous one was.

That is pretty darn funny Zysoclaplem! LOL!

You can login to your account on any PC that has WoW installed.

But did she use his ID/PW when she logged in to his machine to make the new character?

Sounds more like a yagt, seems like she's doing it just to piss you off, to be honest... but as has been stated, a gaming woman is a nice find, so maybe start a new character on her account or something *shrug*.

Simple solution.

Give yer wife to me and you can play WOW by yourself on your rig while I play with YOUR wife on HER RIG.
