Our pup is 9 weeks old and still doesn't have a name. Anyone have any ideas?
We want a short name that doesn't sound like the names of our other pets so that when we call him he'll recognize that it's him we're calling. So nothing that has the same long vowel sound as our cat named Jack or the pup's mama, named Blue.

It's a Sony Mavica MVD-CD300. Friend gave it to me when she got the next model up, heh. I think she spent a fortune on it when it was new, maybe around $1000 or $1100.

The mom is a Blue Heeler (Australian Cattledog.) Cool breed, they are mostly a dingo-collie cross. We were going to breed her once with another blue heeler, but she decided to punish us for leaving her while we went on vacation this summer. The father is the neighbor's dog. He's some kind of medium sized, white, shorthair mutt with more or less the same shape as our dog. Kind of looks like he might have some Jack Russell in him. Blue is getting fixed now, she blew her chance.
 
I've always felt two-syllable names for pets are best. It makes it easier when calling for the pet.. For instance with Earl, normally you would call him Earl, for instance "Good boy ERRL) but when calling from a distance, you would be yelling ERRR-ALLLL but with a two-syllable, you'd say LEEEEE-ROYYY or CLEEE-TUSS, etc
