I noticed this yesterday but couldn't get excited about it so forgot to post until today. Price will be good thru today. Oh yeah, this is in the Sunnyvale, CA store so should be good in all the bay.

That's the rumor. I was having my weekly talk with the manager about my 8 month old rebate and he said that there's was going to be a huge sale on Friday.

Does that come with the heatsink/fan for the cpu or just a board and chip? I'm not familiar with that board only epox and abit. Is it a decent board for the price? Seems like the chip is about retail and the board is free. Is this not hot? Does fry's have a cheap but adequate heatsink fan for $10 or so or do I have to spend $$$$ for a heatsink/fan? Thanks

runninb two ECS mobos right now, very stable but no OC'ing features unless you use a 3rd party bios. No ida on HSF, don't have a frys near me otherwise I would jump all over this.

Dallas newspaper ad is for an XP 2000+.

That's without HSF.

Well, I've promised mom a new computer... now might be the right time.

ECS is a great board. Mine's pushing two years now. You can OC without the 3rd party bios. I have my 2100 running as a 2600.

I hit the San Diego Fry's this morning after checking out the LA and OC ads on-line. San Diego did not have several items listed, for example there were no memory deals at all. But they did have the 2200+ w/K7S5A Pro for the $69 dollar dealie.
