Vending machines puzzle me. On campus, the Coca Cola machines ALWAYS refuse my money, but the Pepsi machines take it fine. This happens with old crappy bills, new crisp bills fresh off the press, etc. It makes no difference. The Coke machines WILL NOT take my money. They worked fine last semester. Wtf is this? I'm beginning to wonder if they have little gnomes inside who decide who they want to sell to.

Try wadding up the new bills before putting them in the vending machines.

Not to mention coins give you your soda quicker, whereas with bills you gotta feed it in, wait for it to check it, let it put the dollar in the bill slot, tell the machine to dispense the soda, etc etc etc.

Wow, your campus not exclusive (aka sold soul to coke or pepsi) to a product.

I still say the snack machine poses a bigger threat than the soda machine.
 
The school that I'm going to in the fall allows us to charge our accounts with the swipe of a card, pretty sweet.
 
I like the ice cream machines where the cooler lid opens and a vacuum hose-arm sucks out my Chipwich or Dove Bar 😀
