Update 3/30 -- This just in... a big fat HAHAHAHAHAHA SUCKERS for all the eBay and FS/FT dorks that paid the big $$ - Electronics Boutique is taking ANOTHER preorder for the SE boxes due to ship 4.20.04

People asking from $65 upto $135 before the ink even dries on the box.

If only my taxes came in earlier...

Oh, and I got the CD edition, and value it far more installed on my machine watching FFMCobalt eat an assload of Leviathan.
But then Jamesbond007 comes in and makes me cry like a wussy. :beer:

I'm bored with my SE copy, I should sell it. Get in on some of this eBay mayhem. I don't know what the big deal is, the headset sucks, the metal box isn't worth anything. Ohh no, not swapping CDs! Torture!

Once you install it, only CD #6 (Play CD) resides in your drive anyway. I just want the headset.

Had I known the profit margins on this would've been 250%+, I would've picked up atleast 3. When I bought mine at Best Buy this past Wednesday, they had atleast 15 of the SE version out on the shelf .

haha some people are ignorant. those are the people that buy expensive editions so we can keep buying the cheaper ones that do the same thing instead of flaming them, you should promote it!

I bought my copy with the intent of playing it, just like many others in this thread. The metal-sleved box looks nice next to my metal Quake 3 box, placed prominently on a shelf above my monitors...

I had a BB preorder for a 2nd copy for this purpose... but that didn't come through. I saw they were going that much on eBay a couple days before it officially came out. I was planning to do the same since I spent a lot of money on hardware upgrades just for this game.

Oh well.

Mine was $25 after the BestBuy gamer's gift confusion I created at the register I believe that's the same price as a normal edition. Oh well, it's cheap, so even if it starts to collect dust in a few weeks, I'll have gotten my $25 worth of enjoyment out of it.
