Anyone know what their process is for shipments that dont make it before the weekend?

Meaning, i had a package that was suppose to come in on friday, it never arrived. In their tracking system, it still shows it has been out for delivery since friday morning. The status has never changed.

Does anyone know what they usually do with packages? Meaning do they usually bring it back to the warehouse and scan it in, and send it out for delivery, and scan it out for monday? Or do they just leave it on the truck and no scanning happens?

Im curious because I waited whole day for my package friday, and waiting right now today and it still has not updated with any status. Im starting to think the driver just took the package for himself :(

two days from now some kinda of lame excuse will pop up on your tracking "truck ran out of gas" then the next day you might get the package. LOL UPS sucks so much, they have done this to me all the time. It will say out for delivery and I wait it never comes. Then the tracking will update to "first attempt made no one home" WTF or I've had where the package goes missed for 4 days after being out for delivery then pops up saying "missorted arrival scan at hub"

use fedex next time.

LOL. UPS screwed me too.

1) Product ordered at Newegg.com at about 11:00 AM EST on Tuesday, November 8. (I paid for UPS 3-day.)
2) Delivery scheduled for Friday, November 11.
3) November 11 arrives, I go to UPS.com with my tracking number, and their system tells me that my delivery date has been rescheduled for Monday, November 14:

THE PACKAGE WAS LEFT IN A UPS FACILITY.

4) I called Newegg, and they refunded me the cost of shipping.
5) It is now 6:22 PM EST on Monday, November 14, and no package has arrived.

UPS has lost a customer for life. FedEx gets my business from now on.

Well it finally arrived 2:55PM. I guess they just got lazy and didnt feel like delivering. Anyways i have called UPS, they do gaurantee on time delivery of the estimated date, or your money back. However you must have the shipper call to get shipping refunded.

In my case its yucky tigerdirect. They said they would submit a request and credit me in a few days. We will see, TD customer service is very snobby

I couldn't help but post this. Just saw this in the newspaper in help wanted section....

"SEASONAL DRIVER HELPERS Earn 8.00/hr
if you're 17 yrs or older, able to lift and cary up to 70 pounds, meet UPS appearance guidelines, and are willing to meet the driver in the delivery area, then this a great opportunity to earn extra cash! You must be available M-F from 10am- 6pm and enjoy working at a fast pace"

no wonder the packages in my area are always getting lost they pay 8 bucks to just about anybody to load the truck with the only qualification being must enjoy fast pace. LOL I wonder if one guy stands in the truck and the other guy in the building and they just chuck the packages to each other.
