If your statements are true, then I would never have to pass either of you in the turning lane.

I despise the asshats that think the exit-only lane is their personal express lane, then cut in front just before the exit ramp. They think they're special.

Left-lane lamers are also...lame. Seriously, if you're doing 65 in the left lane, and are being passed on both sides by cars doing 70-75, you need to move over.
The worst is when it's trucks. I never see semi-trailers in the left lanes (semi drivers are, IMO, the best drivers on the road: they keep long following distances and always let you in), but I do see the smaller one-piece trucks (Penske rent-a-truck kinda size).

And people cutting me off just pisses me off. I don't care if you cut me off with 3 carlengths to spare and you're going faster, how do I know you aren't going to cut in front of me and dive on the brakes (it's a type of insurance fraud: the "swoop and squat"). Do you think you're special?

I'm a decent driver. I don't tailgate, I don't cut people off (if I can't avoid it, I give them at least 3 seconds warning with my turn signal), but I do keep up the pace (if the lane is open in front of me, I jump up to 80mph).

I loathe people who cross over solid lanes.

if you've ever been on Rt.3/Rt.46 in Jersey.. its fun to say the least ;x theres barriers and what have you up everywhere for construction and sometimes theres just sharp turns out of nowhere along the road because of some wall barrier thing put up blocking off some lanes. Theres solid lines there for a reason. they're hard to maneuvar around and it gets worse when people try and cross over. but people dont care. they just slideee right over in front of you even though its ILLLLEGAL.. then you're stuck slaming on your brakes while they go thru and you have 8000000 other cars right on your ass behind you.

No, I don't think I'm special. Just move over so I don't have to switch lanes to get in front of you.

 You understand that sometimes when you're in the left lane you are hindered by the people in front of you, right? So while I may be willing to go faster than the traffic in the right lane, I can't if the guy in front of me is not. Are you suggesting that I should move out of your way then, so YOU can be behind the guy that is holding up traffic in the left lane? I hope you understand that there are many other people who LIKE YOU are frustrated by the people who block the left lane, but if we all took it upon ourselves to create our own traffic lanes it would create a pretty dangerous situation. It's not terribly dangerous when one person does it, but if everyone who wanted to did it, it would be very bad. So basically by doing what you do, you're saying that your time is more valuable than all of ours.

It's especially frustrating to me because I see people like you doing basically what you're doing EVERY DAY on my way home, and it's not because anyone is going too slow. It's because there is a merge point where traffic gets backed up, and that merge point happens to be right before a light with a jughandle to facilitate U-turns and left turns. People just fly right by all of us who are waiting to merge, take the jughandle and then make a right turn. There is no justificaiton for that, they just feel that they should not be expected to wait like everyone else. What a travesty it is that they are forced to share a road with us commoners.
