I think that dude is a raging nut job, but I agree with Ms. McAlister.

From the article linked:

Students took their complaints to Ms. McAlister, the interim dean. She addressed the granting of the award to Mr. Damsky in at least two town-hall-style meetings, according to an email she wrote to students and an article in The Independent Florida Alligator, the student newspaper. In the February email, the dean wrote that the law school, as a public institution, was bound by the First and 14th Amendments, meaning that no faculty member may “grade down a paper that is otherwise successful simply because he or she disagrees with the ideas the paper advances.
Institutional neutrality, she wrote in her email, “is not agreement or complicity with the ideas that any community member advances.”

A few points omitted. The person who granted the award John L. Badalamenti is a Trump nominated federal judge. Trump is POTUS. If John and Donald want to be racist as a plumber and baker I don't care. Federal judges and Presidents are in a position to effect their racism on others which is going on now. Thats where the power dynamic exists which is a requirement.

Something you fail to acknowledge.

BTW - Damsky's paper was accurate in the beginning. Rights as expressed by the founders were never meant to apply to blacks. Interesting today when black scholars try to get that included into history conservatives want it canceled out.

Just because DJT nominated him it means they are forever linked on everything they do? That idea is bologna at best.

John L. Badalamenti is/was the Professor that taught the class. In his role as a Professor. Regardless of the subject matter and opinions expressed it can still be an excellent paper and as such I agree with the interm Dean that said this:

no faculty member may “grade down a paper that is otherwise successful simply because he or she disagrees with the ideas the paper advances.
Institutional neutrality, she wrote in her email, “is not agreement or complicity with the ideas that any community member advances.”

But I understand everything is racist for you. It's all a plan by them sneaky Whiteys to get you.

If we don't make our redlining policy an actual policy, we're just being race neutral. It has to be true because sub-80 IQ bigots can point out that it isn't anywhere in official policy.

Not sure its any real secret that trump with assistance from the GOP packed the court as much as possible with judges who were bias. Sure some of the appontments haven't always ruled in GOP’s favor, its not secret tho, werent shy about it. Judge cannon being the most obvious example.

Regardless of how it goes, Damskys increasingly agitated rhetoric made other people feel unsafe for sure. Thats why he was booted, not cuz his paper

Full uni reponse:

Lets just get this outta the way: Damsky wrote on paper what many GOP voters have already been thinking. Hes not some anomaly.

Great. Now explain why this concept doesn’t apply to pro-Palestinian protests and speech at Ivy League schools. Students are literally getting nabbed off the streets and disappeared for their speech, while their professors and administrators are being fired and schools are being defunded for allowing them on campus. Tell me why this interim dean in Florida shouldn’t be subpoenaed to testify about anti-Semitic speech on her campus if Damsky’s suspension is overturned.

Nice way to dodge the facts. Each is a racist in themselves. Your tired strawman that I think everything is racist is your way of avoiding hard truths

Example immigration. The clips we see of people being snatched and beaten in the streets including US citizens are all people of color. The immigrants Trump demeans are people of color. It has been shown there are large number of Visa overstays and I bat a lot of them are white.

Not only do we NOT see white people snatched off the streets Trump is granting special refugee status for white people from South Africa

Only you would think there is no problem with that kind of disparate treatment. Even in that award winning dissertation you won’t call the idea to have white only rule in America racist.

Tuberville, in all his racist glory, complained about "inner city rats" living off American taxpayer money, despite representing a state that gets back $1.80 for every $1 contributed to the US government.

Of course, if someone like AOC called Alabama a state filled with trailer trash rats feeding at the federal trough, Republicans would be crying and demanding blood at such a horrible breach of decorum, and Democrats would have to scramble to disavow it.

Dems because of the differing standards of behavior have to be clever in their responses. I want Dems to punch those fucks in the mouth. AOC and Jasmine Crockett have show they are capable.

Example attack TT personally and user you example of their state being moochers.

I didn't read his paper, nor am I interested in reading his racist tripe. His professor obviously thought it was a well presented paper regardless of the opinion expressed.

I don't think what you presented as racism on the part of the Judge is correct based on a paper written by an obvious racist moron. IAW the Interim dean they are not allowed to grade down a paper based on the subject matter presented.

Undeniable fact you are as racist as everyone else.... like you call people Whitey. I can't imagine the outrage if I called someone a Darky.

The clips we see of people being snatched and beaten in the streets including US citizens are all people of color.

All? I hardly think so.

Even in that award winning dissertation you won’t call the idea to have white only rule in America racist.

I did call him racist... and to be more specific to call for the idea to have white only rule in America is racist and anyone that makes that call is also a racist.

If you don’t read it how can you judge if it is racist?

However if you read it and conclude it is the racist tripe you claim anyone awarding this paper is likely racist himself. Remember this is a sitting judge who get to impose his racism on people like me.

By not reading you get to feign ignorance and just move on.

I’m not surprised in the least your MO. You think racism will just disappear if you just ignore it.

I’m just not sure if is willful ignorance, willful hate or just you don’t give a shit.

Anyway I don’t care. People like you will always exist.

I read the article that was linked in this thread by you about him and his paper with the ideas presented.

Read what the Interim Dean stated that they are not allowed to downgrade based on the subject.

You didn't provide any evidence that the Judge/Professor was racist. Only your assumption that he was racist.

Obviously you do care as you keep harping about it and twisting what I said. As will race baiters such as yourself.

Have a nice day

Seems pretty straightforward suppression of speech by the government. Maybe you'd like to explain how its a “totally different subject”

Lighting fires, kidnapping people, interfering with others freedoms and damaging property is a bit more than free speech.

Why should I, it is obvious.

I see, so people protesting are a problem for you? There are examples that you can find if you choose to look that will be of people not engaging in those activities that are being targeted by the current people running the federal government. Either you are for it, or against it, which is it?
