Actually, you can say it's the same as the Nexus fans. Nexus takes Yate Loons and undervolts them so they run slower, which makes them quieter.

Published specs:
Nexus Real Silent Fan 120mm 36.87CFM 22.8dBA
Yate Loon D12SM-12 70.5 CFM 33dB

Conceivably, these should be the same fans if you undervolt the YL from 12v to 7v. However, since the LED version has a clear plastic frame, there's a strong possibility that the YL LED will produce more chassis vibration than the Nexus at the same speed.

Owning neither (but having done some research) I'd say the YL at 7v will be a little louder than the Nexus at 12v. However, it'll also give you more headroom.

i have the coolermasters, they are quiet at 12v and almost silent at 7v. good fans they dont push huge amounts of air but they get the job done.

I have three 120mm Yate Loon blue LED fans in my case. At 12v, the noise is very tolerable, and my case is also right next to my head. At 5v, my Arctic Cooling NV Silencer drowns them out..

true. i have to run my arctic cooler at 20% during 2d times or else its the loudest thing in my computer when i sleep. I also unpluged my northbridge fan so my computer is now completely silent

They are loud at 12v, but I got them for the purpose of having some headroom for my case fans during the summer. I run them at 7v and they are about as quiet as my Nexus 120 at 12v.
Great fans (as all Yate Loon/Nexus are) but these must be undervolted due to the 1650 RPMs they put out at 12v. My Nexus's only run 1000-1100RPMs at 12v.

If you're looking for a shiny fan that's not too loud, people seem to really like the Coolermaster 120mm led. About half the noise as the xtreme turbine, also about half the air flow.

I just purchased a COOLER MASTER Centurion 532 RC-532-SKN1, would the 120 you linked to be the standard intake fan that's included in the case?

You guys think it will get the job done for cooling an OCed Opteron 165 Retail on a DFI LANPARTY UT nF4 Ultra-D?

I also need to pick up a 120mm exhaust fan for the Case, any suggestions? Should the exhuast have the same Air Flow (CFM) as the intake(or more or less)?
