Not even a bottle of vinegar for the losing ticket?

Nope, no vinegar

This year reminds me of 2000.

I bet if this was 2000 the folks on here would not believe it.

Millions of people running a distributed client program but I get singled out for 120 years and $800,000.

No where near as much money but I have state of Illinois wants $16,000 for $15 in tolls I supposedly missed going back to 2009. I never got the violation notifications. They've "exploded" the fines (their words) because I did not respond to the notifications and charging me $600 a day now.

This year just keeps on giving.

What happened in 2000?

George Forman grilling machines

Poker sets

Blue Ray players

iPad speakers

bunch of stuff
At the place I last worked, it was $5 and $10 WaWa gift cards. I ended up with $25 worth

Did you ever think that maybe -- just maybe -- it is you and not that everyone else is out to get you?

You're supposed to put your raffle ticket in the box not hold it in your hand.

Ell Oh Ell.

Dave, you fully deserved that shit. Misuse of government property. You were probably just the last to do it, so they decided to make an example of you, because they were tired of having to scrub the systems clean.

Dumbass.

This I have to disagree with.

While I don't think that should be a criminal charge, who in their right mind would install something like that on their employer's computers without consent?

You gotta remember, it happened in 99....

A lot of advances in computer security and virus threat have happened since then

There you go, you won something, at least more than my raffle ticket.
haha, you're such a loser, but more than that a liar. I don't believe this anymore than the thread in which you claimed to have your entire house robbed. IMO you are a huge negative for the forums and should have been perma-banned long ago. Many share this view.

More lies. You never stop lying and just tout bullsh*t nobody believes anymore.

An idiot.
Except you forgot the part where I was in charge of everything that went on the computers and it had been on the machines for over two years.
So two years of stupid.

So? That is still no excuse to install DC software on your employer's computers regardless if it is 1999 or 2011 unless you're given explicit consent.

He was permabanned at one time IIRC but whined until they let him back in.

The amazing thing is that he honestly doesn't seem to have a clue as to why he can't find decent jobs. All a company has to do (and most do) is spend 5 minutes googling his name as part of a background check and anyone sane would pass on him.

he has me on ignore, but someone should ask for proof of the alleged $16k in fees he "owes" Illinois.

Only employee left sitting there holding a raffle ticket.

One does have to admire the ingenuity of the planner who managed to know exactly how many employees would attend, arranged exactly one less prize than that, AND finageled a way to have Dave be the one left out. Wonder if the planner was an AnandTech Forum member? :whiste: :)
