How about an ex-Navy nuke? I still remember some of my shipboard electronics systems...

You are our new Electrician's Mate. Welcome aboard.
Thanks. 🙂 Can we overhaul the boat and replace the diesel with an S3G plant? I trained on that. 😀

That might be a tad out of my operating budget.

Anyway, can you imagine the permits I would need?:frown:

Maybe RossMAN can find me a hot deal on a used Russian plant in good shape.😀

I'll volunteer! I expect a cool captain's hat though, and we need to fix up the deck gun.

The doctor slot is still open.

It's yours as long as you know basic first aid or are an incurable alcoholic, bonus points for both.

Sunk 24 June 1943 in the North Atlantic south-west of Iceland in position 59.00N, 26.18W by a homing torpedo from an American Catalina aircraft (VP-84/G). 54 dead (all hands lost).

Seems like she's jinked to me boys.

What should we name it?

That's a good question.

I am open to suggestions.
It has to fit for ATOT, so obviously the USS Spider. 😛

falco76: This sub was built in the 50's; there's no way that it was sunk in WW2
