YAST (yet another Steam thread)

I recently formatted my computer and went to reload HL2. I already had Steam installed since I have been playing Opposing Force. Anyways, when I went to install HL2, I kept getting a stupid DMCA error when loading it from CD (and yes, I do legally own this retail copy). So I fire up Steam, and it lets me download HL2. Quick and painless.

I still have nothing negative to say about Steam, and don't really understand why so many people hate it.

I like it too. Only thing I don't like is it takes up another 15 or so MB of ram that I would rather have for my game but I can deal with that.

funny, i keep finding things i hate
its soooooooooooooooooooooooo freakin slow, and now all my games run like sh!t
