Yeah. Usually borrow a friend's gun or my son's gun or use a rental. As long as it shoots straight, I'm happy. The super tricked out $3000 guns don't make up for a lack of skill - I've kicked butt vs. quite a few "show offs" who had top notch equipment, but not top notch skills. (not that mine are top notch, but I can hold my own if partnered with 1 or 2 people who have a clue what to do.
 
used to play, had an impulse w/ custom insides/trigger job etc, but when i left for college a couple years ago i had to sell it for $$$ reasons.
I ended up getting trolled and didnt get a dime for my equipment, so in the long run i wish i sisnt sell it.
Lesson learned= dont trust canadians =)
 
i used to play a ton in HS tournys and everything even plaied with the Pro team Lockout out of Victor NY, stopped playing when i came to college i just didnt have the time, id actually like to sell my gun but noone wants to buy it

I played paintball once... I don't have the skill. Couldn't pick out where the people were fast enough before I got hit.

BTW, if you're looking for equipment, the BST paintball fs/t forums are lively.
 
i used to play all the time, i referee'd often as well. goddamnit i was such a badass. but yah, i came to college (central NY w/ 6 mos of winter) and i needed money for other things. my last setup, RIP 🙁

oh if you really play serious, check out the dye socks. i know socks are whatever but they are really nice. comfy. i never get blisters anymore.

also we have a lot of companies come up to do team building stuff (i work at the field that sponsors our team), as well as bacholer and birthday parties.
 
I have wanted to back into this for a while but my friends have "grown out of it." Such BS, they will spend $50 - $100 a night at a bar getting shot down by girls but playing paintball, too expensive. Also, my friend's back yard is like a jungle. It would be so sweet to get a game going down there.

i trust bud orr to keep his company going, and the new influx of cash can't hurt anything. he's confident this is a positive and that's good enough for me.
