Yaris

I think that Toyota vehicles have gotten uglier since the most recent remodel in 2005 (2006 model year)

lots of reviews i read say they suck i was looking at getting one until i started to look deeper they're the lowest rated car thats w/e class its considered (ultracompact?) and they have no balls 🙁

I'm surprised Toyota could make such a poor car... my dad has a 2003 Toyota Tundra and it's phenomenal in performance, reliability, and fun factor.

LOL

point taken. We are just starting to look for a new car for my fiancee. Just across the Yaris and thought I would ask for some opinions.

Don't buy anything in the first model year. Then there's the 'shortages' of fuel-efficient cars, which allow the dealers to make big profits. I want a Fit but I am waiting. maybe next year.

I bought an '06 Civic last December and haven't had a problem with it. Larger and definitely more solid than the Yaris and I got 38mpg on my last tank.

Go balls out and get a WRX STI if you want a small sedan! 😀

If I was shopping that segment I wouldn't even consider a Yaris based on what I've heard/read. Check out the Fit and the Versa.

Which is the one that had like 22 compartments? That thing looked awesome 😀

Nissan Versa, but the mpg is not as high as the others in that class.

Worthwhile to look at the Dodge Caliber, PT Cruiser, and Chevy Cobalt unless you have to have the newest ultra-compact.

from everything i've read/tried, civic and corolla are the way to go... ultra reliable, gas efficient, inexpensive, safe, and not bad to drive (the sport editions especially so).

i have a xB and its got the same motor as the yaris. if you get an automatic its going to be very slow. the 5 speed isnt nearly as slow or boring to drive.
