YAR(roomate)T I HATE MY ROOMATES

There are 5 of us that live in a rather large apartment, 2 couples and one girl. The other couple always has friends over that camp out in our living room all weekend long. Nobody cleans up anytihng and their friends use our bathroom that I share with my fiancee and the one girl.

They have the master bedroom with a private deck and a huge bathroom. I woke up at 6 am to let my cat out and their friends were humping on my fiancee's couch.

They leave there sh!t everywhere and never clean up after themselves. The one girl is a neat freak and is always picking up after themselves. We are in a lease with them so we can't kick them out. The rent was figured out like 2 years ago but i was looking at sq. ft. and they have like %20 more then us or the one girl.

I am so farking irritated and bitter. I am going to reconfigure the rent and give them until 2004 to pay or trade rooms (not my motivation but just another solution if they say they can't afford the raise)

Any suggestions would be nice.

right now the one girl is cleaning up the kitchen AFTER THEM!!! This sucks and we have no real say in what they do because they are on the lease. There isn't really anything we can do if they don't want to comply. So aggrivating...

They wouldn't really notice, we heap there sh!t against there door when they leave and they just bring it back out. Its ok i guess, like my fiancee said it only gives us more leverages against them for raising the rent. What worries me is that if this gets ugly something bad will happen to my cat and then i'll have to break someones leg(s).

Also, just hide something rotting in their room that they normally might eat. Unless they enjoy smelling like poop, they will clean their room, and when they find it they can't blame you. Keep doing it until they learn to pick up after themselves.

Also, just hide something rotting in their room that they normally might eat. Unless they enjoy smelling like poop, they will clean their room, and when they find it they can't blame you. Keep doing it until they learn to pick up after themselves.

I am the same with my dishes. Their room smells bad as it is, all the would do is light some incense(sp?) to cover it up. I mean is it too much for me to ask that they have their friends sh!t and shower in their bathroom so we don't have to clean up after them?

I really wish i had a solution to this mess.

Oh and i will have pics of their mess, just not the one girl.

Have you ever discussed the problem with your roommates? If you already did, do it again.

The one girl told them to clean up their sh!t before they left so they have heaped and folded their crap, so it looks half decent. I am just sick of their loser friends camping out in out living room all weekend long.

Oh well i am cooling off a little as the morning progresses. They are gonna be out for most of the day so i'll snap a couple quick pics of their nastiness.

Have you ever discussed the problem with your roommates? If you already did, do it again.

Yeah, but i am gonna make a list of rules so they can see it in black and white, then we will have an apartment meeting to discuss them and the new rent changes.

you could put a lock on the bathroom.. give the 3 of you that use it keys, and.. just keep it locked unless one of you have guests.
