Like ThePresence, I'd like to hear what people have to say about my own pics. But, I'm also wondering if these pics are of enough quality that people would actually buy them. Photography is quite the pricey hobby....maybe I could make some money off it.

CRW_3664_RJ.JPG <-- blurry, but I kinda liked the composition anyway.

...of course, with monitor/color profiles and all...I guess I can only hope that the colors, brightness and contrast look to everyone else as they do to me.

They are all good. 3654 is my favorite. My least favorite is 3835, as the dewdrops on leaves thing has been done a million times.

What kinda camera?
Canon Digital Rebel.

where'd you take those? a zoo?
Yep.

Plants were shot with the kit-lens (18-55mm f3-5.6, which has proved to be quite a nice performer) and the zoo pics were shot with the Canon ef 50mm f1.8 II

So if you were to happen upon one a 8x10-or-so print of [whichever one you like], for a decent price (no idea...$$$?) you'd buy one? Are there online services where you can upload your pics to them and get a cut of whatever they sell?

edit: acutally, because of image proportions, options for these would be 4x6, 8x12, 10x15, 16x24 and 20x30.

Anyone ever use deviantArt to sell anything? It looks like a service much like the one I was thinking of (I upload them the pics, they sell/print them, we split the $$$...but I dunno what cut I get...and I bet there's a subscription fee). Perhaps there're more services like this...since I dunno just how much exposure deviantArt gets to the online community outside of its own niche.

Very nice pics. I like the snake one! As far as deviantArt is concerned, they seem to have a decent following from what I've seen/heard. If there isn't a sub fee, then it can't hurt you to upload them.

EDIT: After a quick look, i didn't see that it would cost you anything... might be worth a shot :) Good luck if you do.
