Dave, you owned a yacht you hack piece of crap.

How many American's have EVER owned a yacht?

Awesome language from the Elite here.

I made an attempt at buying an old boat that in it's day would've been considered a Yacht.

By today's standards certainly not.

Since it was old the deal was $12,000.

At one point you said the gas for your yacht was getting way too expensive.

So you never bought the boat or were you lying back then?

Oh that's right have to add you to the little group with Bober and Skoorb.

No, I did not get a chance to complete the purchase on the boat. I lost $4,000 down payment on the boat along with $50,000 on a bar scam by a Sheriff and a Bank Vice President.

That's OK I get to watch the whole country get scammed now.

So you were lying to us about the cost of gas getting out of hand for your yacht.

Didn't Dave lose a bunch of money on a couple stocks during the .com bust, and hence declare the market rigged?

I've never seen such an unsucessful soothsayer before. He'd lose his head if it wasn't attached to his neck.

The saying comes to mind - "you can't scam an honest man".

$1 million net worth isn't really that much. It's upper middle class. My parents are worth that or more (I've never seen their finances since they don't want me to get an idea of entitlement, but I can estimate from what we have) and we don't have an extremely extravagant lifestyle. We have 2 houses at the moment (although 1 is going to up for sale soon - we're moving) and some toys (guns, decent computers, the new house is nice), but we don't exactly wipe our asses with money.

Edit: I don't really see how it's a bad thing to have made something of yourself, by the way. I don't like Palin, but criticizing her net worth isn't really something that should be a factor in the election. The founding fathers weren't exactly poor for their time, you know.

Which group is this? I don't know if it's the rich group as I highly doubt Bober is as rich as I am unless he's going car shopping in Monaco this weekend like I am (I do it twice/year just to see what new exotics are on the market. Last time I came back with a new helicopter!). Now, I do own a yacht, although the guys at my club prefer the less pretentious term "boat". Giles' boat is one of the larger ones at 120 feet. I think that's ostentatious, so I prefer a more nimble and cozy 70 footer. No need to flaunt my wealth, is there? It makes the underlings jealous.

Is there anything you don't fuck up Dave?

I was. He still owed $12,000 on the note.

I only paid 4 months when things failed.

He still had to pay $8,000 on the note.

I haven't fucked up the country like your hero Bush.

Dave, I never voted for Bush. You did.

Damn, how many times can you look stupid in one day before you stop posting?

During the debate, she constantly claimed that she was middle class. Sorry lady, you don't qualify.

There's nothing wrong with having made something of yourself, what's wrong is that she is lying about her class standing in order to garner more support.

She's not middle class, especially considering that she's in her early 40s. She would have easily been a multimillionaire by retirement, even if she wasn't accepting bribes (err campaign contributions) as an Alaskan governor.
