YAPT: Am I the only one with this problem?

Recently I've noticed that blue jeans fit a lot tighter around my thighs and glutes than they have previously. I'm a normal guy, perhaps a little overweight, but I'll have to purchase several sizes too large in the waist in order to even walk in the pants. I have very little fat in that region, it's almost all muscle. Am I the only one with this problem?

ummm... buy a different style of pants, not straight leg?

Middle age spread?

19ish, and about the pant styles: I've tried both loose and straight and didn't really notice a difference there, just on my calfs.

dude you are not a regular guy if you are complaining about your fat thighs on a message board 🙂

See, they're not fat at all. If I stretch my legs out so my muscles aren't tightened I can barely grab anything.

Screw these guys. I'm right there with you in the 19 y/o "jeans are getting too tight" group.

I'm just tired of having normal jeans fit like emo girl jeans. I'm the same body proportions i've been for ages and I've just started havaing this problem. I just want loose jeans.

FYI: I don't have this problem with dress pants.

We're in complete agreement. What's really disturbing is people don't seem to be noticing it. Eventually men are going to be walking around in spandex (I've actually already seen this in nyc).

girl pants ftw

But why? Seriously, I'm a guy; I lack curves to show off and I don't feel the need to attempt it. Furthermore, I have items that need space that girl pants weren't designed with in mind.
