Yet Another Prepaid Phone Thread! :)

does anyone know of a cell phone provider that lets you keep your prepaid minutes? tmobile seem to allow this but only up to a year... are there any that will let you keep them indefinitely?

i think virgin mobile ( sprint network ) allows that. but you have to put in $20 every three months or the account goes inactive.

Tracfone.
You can keep your minutes for years and years, BUT you do have to purchase service time separate from the minutes (a month, a year, two years).

I did some research on prepaid plans a while ago and it seems like pretty much all of them require you to buy minutes every so often to keep them from expiring. Usually, a $10-$15 card will renew the plan for 1 month, a $20-$50 card will renew for 3 months, and an $80-$100 card will renew for a whole year.

The minutes on the account will all expire at once, and the expiration date is based on the last time you bought minutes.

Tmobile - even though it expires in a year, if you haven't used all your minutes you can buy $5 worth and the expiration will extend another year.
