Richard Albarano painted the front of his white Druid Hills home lime green with orange polka dots Wednesday, two days after the DeKalb County Historic Preservation Commission told him to narrow part of his just-widened driveway.

Albarano was inspired by Stan Pike, who painted a house lime green with purple polka dots in a tiff with Avondale Estates' Historic Preservation Commission.
