It is my opinion that Yao will be a consistent double-double player.

The rockets just aren't confident with using Yao. I wouldn't be either. He's terrible defensively. He doesn't deserve to get the ball until he plays some defense. His reflexes are just terrible...but ya gotta love how when he actually did make some shots, he was double, and sometimes triple teamed.


I still think he looks like a T-Rex.😀

I think the biggest problem is just that he doesn't know the system right now. Those "reflexes" are most likely just him being confused and hesitant about what to do.

Give him some time...

Give Yao time, they aren't playing him enough. Even he said he'll need to get adjusted to the fast pace of the NBA.
