Although Jaret Wright and Tony Womack might potentially be one year-hit wonders, if they play like last year, these are two great pickups for the Yankees. Great upgrades IMO over Miguel Cairo and Esteben Loiza (??).
Yankees haters will always hate, but I think we're going in the right direction in this one.
Adding Rodriguez and Stanton only helps (look at Heredia.) Rumors out that Steve Kline is ready to sign also.
When the Diamondbacks realize that no team will give up three established players, four prospects and 20 million for Randy Johnson, they'll lower their demands to the Yanks and we should be signing him soon.
