Yankees fans are asshats

Well, coming from a midwesterner who CAN name almost all players on the Yankees & Red Sox linup, I will tell you that baseball is not "just a game", it is a religion. And historically what has happened when you put two people with opposing religions next to each other?

Unfortunately for us here, Chicago cannot rip on anyone else, as thanks to last season, we are now officially the most pathetic baseball city in the country...

BTW, I like how the cliffs are almost as long as the story. 😉
 
I was driving by Fenway a few summers ago, I wasn't even wearing my Yankee hat, traffic was crawling. They saw the NY license plate and every few seconds the people walking by would scream stuff like me about the Sox and Yankees, and how NY sucks, etc.

I laughed because it is funny.

I have to admit it's tough being a yankees fan at Fenway. I remember one game at Fenway when a Yankees fan was defending himself against a couple obnoxious Red Sox fans, and security took out the Yankees Fan 😛

Hah, I'm glad you asked that question.. almost every rapper wears some style of Yankees cap for fashion and most of them couldn't give a damn about the team. I don't know why people find the symbol so appealing, it's rediculous.

I promised myself I'm not going to get into this flame-war, but I might as well. Notice how more Boston fans wear shirts blasting Yankees than the ones supporting Boston. This infatuation with New York is really unhealthy. One would think it'd end after you win the championship but IMO it's only getting worse.

Yeah the most popular shirt here in bBoston has "Yankees Suck" on the front and "Jeter Swallows" on the back. I hear that they won't let anyone wear one of those shirts into Fenway though.

Although I am an A's fan I do like the Red Sox because their players are loose and personable, not aloof high priced Prima Donnas like the Yankee Players.

i had a Yankee's license plate holder on my vehicle when i was in Boston a couple of years ago and had random people in traffic honking their horn at me and flipping me off. :roll:

so, in effect, Bosox fans are asshats just the same.
