I was saying before how stupid Orlando was to NOT get Marion and Stoudamire for TMAC. Now look at what happened!
ESPN Power Rankings

Can the Suns win it all?

phoenix would've never included stoudemire in that deal.

Yep, the original deal was Joe Johnson + Marion for TMac.

They dont have a bench, no bench kills your team in the playoffs.

Also, they are a lot more physical in the playoffs, Steve Nash is in his 30s, he will be very tired going into the playoffs, and will simply get beat up in a 7 games series. You can't run and gun in the playoffs, at least not against the Spurs.

As long as Spurs keep raping Suns like they did in the last game, the best Suns will do is Western Conference Finals.

Heck Sonics has a better chance at the Finals than the Suns, sure they lose to the sh!tty teams, but they are 4-0 against Spurs and Heat, they also beat Kings, mavs, t-wolves.

Look at how PHX blew away Heat...

I can't wait for a Suns vs. Detroit finals and see if Detroit defense can keep up with NASH and the other 4 runners: Q Marion JoeJohnson and Amare

they lack a bench but hell even their bench is getting better. Steven Hunter is a great backup for Amare, while Jacobsen and Barbosa aint half bad, the starters are all young they can run 30+ minutes

Phoenix will most likely finish with the best record in the league, but they don't have it in them to make a run in the playoffs. As others have already noted, lack of a bench and non-existant defense will hurt them in a best of 7 series. And there is no way the 5 starters will have fresh legs towards the end of the season.

it'll be very interesting to see how Phoenix fares in the playoffs.

teams like Dallas and Sacramento have shown that offense doesn't win it all.

but Phoenix's athletism is downright scary.

Heh. Phoenix just got stumped by one of the worst teams in the west.

Har har har.

Phoenix bench - 6 points
Utah bench - almost 10 times that much

Suns are peaking right now, I dunno if they can keep up this pace through may, espcially against the likes of the spurs.

I hope so though...AZ needs a NBA title to go with the one were going to be getting in college hoops this year :p

spurs are too deep for anyone to compete over 7 games

I've been saying it before the start of the season and I'll say it again. The Spurs will win it all this year!

Everyone would like to see a fairytale ending with the Suns or the Sonics winning it all this year but I can't see that happening.
