Well, it's almost riding season, and I'msure as hell itching to ride - so I'm sure this comes up every so often - who rides motorcycles on ATOT, and what kind of bike do you guys have/prefer?
 
I went for my first ride of the year this afternoon. No pics, but its an '06 250R that I have to sell before I even put 1k on the odometer. The wife says since I bought my car this winter that I have to give her a new kitchen 🙁

Maybe I'll sneak home that VTX1300 I was planning on getting next year a little early :evil:

Nice. I had the 750 quite a few years back. After a ride through a barbed wire fence I gave it up. It freakin hurt.

I have heard a lot of good things about the GSXR's. a buddy has one and it has been a good machine for him.

I had a 600 CBR heavely modified (heh had to. it was to tall!).


been thinking of getting another bike. but hate to go through all the trouble. its a pain to find a bike short enough for me.
 
Sportbikes are what sports cars used to be.

Track use.

Now everybody wants to flaunt a sporty car that honestly all sports cars have become too heavy.

The only useable sports car is a Porsche 911 imo.

Vettes are just 2 seaters...

Ferrari/Lambo have gotten to the point where they have alot of electronics...

you see alot of 4 door "sport sedans", evo, sti, m5, s4

So... while the car industry has changed... sport bikes keep getting rawer and let you push the limit even more... with the new slipper clutches... and some have electronic throttle
