But, if you want to be caught totally off-guard, listen to some of the one-liners Ludacris drops in his many guest appearances. Sometimes, you will just start laughing in disbelief. "I can't believe he just sad that in a rap song!"

If you listen to his interview on raptism he says the name 50 cent is a metaphor for change, I guess from being a street thug to legit rapper. Or something like that.
50 cent has been around long before dre and eminem got togather, and so has his name. Ive read in a couple articles it has something to do with his crack dealing days and "50 cent" was the name of some legendary crack dealer.
