Yet another modeps poll.

I dont really care for them, most of their music sounds like uninspired whiny crap... not to mention it sounds the same too. Take the poll and be sure to pick the proper age group!

22 here, I used to love them but it's all the same screaming over and over again. Their music is great though

Pick a side!! :p

I'm 24 and I can't stand them. Just a bunch of whining with a turntable.

I used to be a big fan of them when I heard hybrid theory, I was 15 or 16. Reanimation was "ok", and thats coming from a big fan, and Meteora was great (17 when the cd came out). Since then, my tastes have changed, I now listen to Thursday, Thrice, Taking Back Sunday, All American Rejects, The Starting Line, and alot of smaller bands.

I've always thought they were really good (though, really over played), and I've love to see them in concert even now though my tastes have changed. My mp3 cd still has alot of there songs. Not as much as before, but I still like them.

Like them, but definitely don't worship them. Hard to get worked up over non-offensive rap metal pop rock.

Filth Garbage, 20+

ive made this point before.
if you cannot play a live show without the aid of DAT; the band is full of no talent hacks. period.
theyre no better than milli vanilli
and i dont buy the 'well their music is sooooo complex, we want to hear it just as it sounds on the record' lines.
you dont go to LIVE shows to hear the way it sounds on record.
if you do, youre completely missing the point of a concert.

I am really burned out on the manufactured anger in much of what passes for popular music nowadays. Limp Bizkit might be the worst example, but Linkin Park are also guilty of it - it's like rage for the sake of rage, and yelling for the sake of yelling. I find it emotionally vacant and ultimately soulless.

They weren't that great live, but their studio stuff is very tolerable... better than 95% of what radio stations play.

I'd rather listen to Michelle Branch than Linkin Park.

Also, dont play a live show if you sound like complete garbage doing so. Tonic and Third Eye Blind came to my college while I was working concert setup, they performed in our large gymnasium which really doesnt have the best accustics but whatever. Anyways, Tonic came on, and I hadnt really ever heard their stuff before, they were fantastic. Great sound, great presence, and just an all around good band. 3EB came out and they were terrible, not to mention they haid an air about them that was "I'm so much better than you" afterwards... Tonic came out and thanked us for working then went to the bar with a bunch of people (i couldnt go, I was still breaking down) 3EB played their 'set" and just left. JERKS!

Limp Bizkit used to be good, when they first came out... 3 Dollar Bill was a great CD... too bad everything after that was just them being full of themselves.
