I literally laughed out loud when I read this. Again, faux outrage rears its ugly head. What I actually said was that the OP "seems to be calling for all black people to be sent back to Africa," which I think is the only reasonable interpretation of what he said. I had already asked him to clarify and he didn't. You have also declined to provide an alternative explanation. This isn't lying, it's making a reasonable (indeed, probably the ONLY reasonable) inference about what he wrote.

Can you please mellow out on your drama queen bullshit? You'd think a guy who took his username from the awesome Reservoir Dogs would be less whiny and highstrung.

DonVito, didn't really see that in GT's opening post either. Not at all. But I blame the atmosphere here for you jumping to that conclusion. People are accused of racism, and there are times it is totally unfounded yet others run with it.

Well it's definitely a hate crime at this point, I am sure if it was non-white girl getting that attention from another dude, it would have not gotten to this and I am pretty sure the store employees would have helped.

What's shocking is one of these girls was 14 and that the guy filming was an employee.

Also the fact that the girls were warned the police were coming so they can flee...WTF is that.

I don't know why so many people are claiming this was caused by a transexual using the woman's bathroom (probably more hate)...she seems like an ok person and based on the video was totally passive and not wanting to escalate anything.

It's a sad state of affairs we are in today.

Did you read the gawker post? It says hate crime charges have yet to be filed. That doesn't mean it's not a hate crime. FYI, sexual orientation is just as much of a hate crime as race is.

I never argued it wasn't a hate crime. I took offense at all the bullshit posted that it was because of race. Depsite the fact there was not one hint or shred of evidence it was. The guy didn't deserve this, but if he knows he is still a male and he doesn't feel comfortable going to a man's bathroom, be more discreet going in a woman's bathroom. People look for trouble, I don't know about, despite I may be in the right, if being more flexible helps me avoid attention of confrontation thats a good thing.

As grandma and the old folks used to say, You can be 100% right and be 100% wrong all at the same time.

You said it's not a racially motivated crime and we STILL don't know that so I don't know what you're trying to get at. The article said it's still waiting that means you don't know so you saying it's not a racially motivated crime means you're wrong because it's not over yet. It could be a racially motivated crime, it could be a sexually orientation motivated crime, it could be both, it could be none.

That's the problem many have already stated would be the focus now that it's known this was a transgender person.

However, the person using the restroom was not the issue. The problem was another dude was interested in this 'girl'...that had them pissed off. Now in all fairness, perhaps if she was black too the results would have been the same. I don't think so though (and I am not saying if it was a black women hit on by a white guy, that a group of white chicks may not do the same thing)...

Many transgender people will use the 'family' bathroom if possible, if not they pretty much HAVE to use the sex of what they look like.

Not to go on a tangent, but it's like a woman seeing a gynecologist...these people are not in the restroom for giggles.

This guy looks very much like a woman though. Do you think they would be safe using the men's bathroom? Seriously...they were hit on by another male and that's what sparked this altercation. The restroom was not the main issue...if it was I am sure this beating would have happened inside and probably ended a lot worse for that chick.

I said that if he, didn't want to use the men's bathroom wait till the coast is clear and be discreet. Something just makes me laugh sometimes here. We don't live in a courtroom. The rule of law will be our judge in the settling of an incident. But we live in a world where people are dangerous. Make the change but don't be a fool. The story is coming out now (see the gawker link above for her latest interview)...she came into the restaurant and one of the guys there was 'interested' in her...she was just there to eat so headed to the restroom. The two other women got pissed and ambushed her when she came out.

People already apparently knew the shit was going to go down as video was pretty much ready to go.

I don't think anyone knew it was going to extend to a full-beatdown though like it did.
