Hi Everyone,

I was thinking about ordering one of the Yamakasi Catleap LCD monitors. To the people who have ordered one from Korea, did you have to pay anything for customs & if so how much?

Thanks

From what i've read in other forums no customs or import tax to pay since they are declared as gifts by the seller. No sure what brand to buy, since I'm thinking of buying 3.

Due to the Korean trade agreement thingy, I don't even think my monitor went through customs. Bought it on a Wed and came Fri.

A few weeks ago I saw them going for upper $200's. Now the cheapest I see is $300. Does anyone have a seller's name that is still in the $200's?

I bought mine for 289, but that was a limited time offer. 309 shipped is usually the norm for them from green-sum. I bought it on a Sunday and it arrived on Tuesday (US). It was spooky fast.

Some sellers will ask you 1. Do you want to mark it as a gift? Answer: Yes
2. How much to declare as gift? Answer: $100

Lowest price is around $300 these days, that's with shipping.
