This isn't meant as a threadcrap, altho it's gonna sound like one.
I bought one of these a couple months back. Problems:
1. The amp had to be on in order for me to do videocapture.
2. Even when it was on, I couldn't get the capture sound out of it
3. The software was from 2000. Hasn't been updated since then.
It seems like a nice unit, but it didn't work for what I needed -- but it would boom out the sound. PM me if you'd like to buy it. I used it a week, and it's now back in the box it came in. I paid $100, with a $30 rebate and free shipping -- so I've got $70 in it. I'll ship for free (UPS Ground / FedEx Ground -- your choice) just to get it out of my prize closet.
