Yamaha 3200E Write Speed Problems

In nero my Yamaha 3200e does an entire CD at 16x, so I was hoping that the problem was that Optimum Write Speed Control, how do you turn that off? And if that's not the problem, any idea what is? Thanks!

What burning software are you using?
If it's nero, you choose your recorder then go into options and uncheck Optimumwrite Speed control enabled.

The problem is the Optimum Writespeed Control, if you have it on it only burns as fast as it can with the inserted media, if you have 24x certified media then it'll burn 24x even with OWC on. Like Don66 said, just go to Recorder, Choose Recorder, then Options, to turn OWC off. I still havent found out how to do that with CloneCD, if anyone knows how to bypass the speed check which most burners do in CloneCD, then please let us know.

I was using 24x media and with OWC on, it was only doing full 700mb cd's at 16x, havn't had a cd to test it with now that I know how to turn it off, so when I have software to test it with i will
