I saw this in Costco web site that they have a Yamaha 16x/10x/40x CD-RW for $167 -$50 rebate and the total is $117 +tax.

no burn-proof though, just a big 8mg buffer

Even cheaper from Staples. The price now is $137. Use $30 coupon + $50 rebate. The final cost is $57 + tax. I got one last week.

I have this burner.

Works good. No BP, but I havent had any coasters with 8mb buffer + Athlon 900.

Also support full RAW-DAO 96 (i.e. will clone almost any CD). I think i'll be picking one up tomorrow :)

not online....and just a empty spot on the shelf at my B&amp;M...also no Maxtor 40GB Firewire at either....miss the boat twice in one day.

the $137 ones at staples were prolly gone at least a week ago, so you missed the boat over a week ago too ;)
