YALT: Can I wash my blankets and sheets together?

I have two of these blankets. They say to wash separately, but I don't have the time or the money. Can I just wash them both together with my sheets? What's the worst that could happen?

The worst thing that would happen is that your white sheets are not going to be white, the red blanket is going to less red and more a mix of red and black.
The black blanket will most likely stay black unless a lot of black dissapears making them a combination of grey + red.
