Nice.

Today I had bbq from Ubon's, Salt Lick, Blackjack, Mitchell's, and 17th St Bar & Grill. All fantastic. Once a year, NYC has the best BBQ in the country.

i don't remember where i saw it, but the dry rub does seem a lot more tangier 'cause of all the spices that were practically lathered on the ribs. i guess that's why everyone always has their own preferences when it comes to "Q".

Texas barbecue is overrated. I've eaten barbecue at the supposedly legendary places in the Texas small towns (anyone heard of Cooper's?), and I don't doubt that NYC could do better.

I've had BBQ at a place called Joe's in Shallotte... it literally makes my mouth water just thinking about it. All-you-can-eat buffet and I would eat until I was on the verge of getting sick.
