Crackdown on 'buttocks cleavage' for coffee shop employees

YAKIMA, Wash. (AP) - Thongs and coffee don't mix. At least not to the City Council in Yakima, Washington.

Officials are cracking down on coffee servers who wear thongs, G-strings or see-through clothing.

This week, the council approved minor changes to the city's indecent exposure law.

Now, it's illegal to show what's politely referred to as "cleavage of the buttocks."

It seems there were complaints about young women wearing next to nothing while working at coffee stands.

Now it's full of Latino gangs.

Believe me, aside from this new development there were already plenty of good reasons never to visit Yakima.

There's truth to that statement. I visited there once and found absolutely no reason to go back. I have some friends who moved to the Seattle area from there and even they have no interest in going back.
