:beer: exact same applies to me. own a pit bull, brought it up the same way. my dad has one also, his dog even had 3 litters of pups (my dog was the last one out in the first birth), and none of those dogs, including his own has ever "snapped' and attacked an innocent bystander. it all depends on how the pet is raised, simple as that. if one follows the training that raven said, we wouldnt hear these stories as often if at all. damn shame though that some people just cant seem to comprehend that, and train their animals to be vicious killing machines.

NO I am a father of a 6 year old boy... and believe it or not that makes anything possible. I don't have any fear of animals, and when a dog is confronted with an animal who is pissed off and intent on killing it then it will either run or fight. Either way your probably going to be bit, but its not going to kill you unless you allow it to.

1 dog with bad training is bad enough but with four you get a pack menatality and not much you can really do. I am suprised that one man could rescue the boy. I would really like to see that man fed to his own dogs though. Crude and primitive i know but i doubt he will even be convicted of manslaughter much less murder.

The mailman tried to save the kid. The drug-selling felon father came out of the house after the dogs were scared off and told the mailman to get off his property. Cops busted the POS for possesing guns (illegal for a felon), marijuana and cocaine trafficing.

They shoulda just fed this guy to the pit bulls.
