Just want to verify. My gf from south korea wants to come to U.S as an international Grad students. Now, one of the requirements to getting the Visa is to show that she have enough finances to go to school. I went to my international student services offices, and the lady told me an estimated amount.
My gf, told me yesterday, that besides showing the $$ on the financial statement, she also needs to show that the person who supports her(maybe her parents) have a steady income job. The internaional office I went to said they know nothing about that, and that should not be one of the requirement.
my gf, who has study abroad before, said that they really do require that.......
so i'll let atot be tie-breaker.
Is a bank statement w/ enough funding be enough to bring her to school?
