Seems on one computer Yahoo homepage is stuck on a mobile version of the page. Can't find anyway to reset or something to click and force desktop mode. Trying clearing browser cache and it's still that way.

Any one come across this before?

Look at your URL. If its yahoo.com its the new ugly redesigned page. If its m.yahoo.com its the mobile version.

Not sure way the keep changing the layout they did that to the finance page and it sucks.

Are you sure? I remember having something similar to this before but thought it went away after resetting the browser.

Can't even find a way to customize the entries on the left hand side anymore and it's got the stupid scroll for eternity for the center page articles.


Also remembered that after clearing cache, first couple times I tried loading the homepage got a momentary message about being redirected I thought was odd.

Did a Google on it and seems it is a wide release of a new homepage. On the good side, almost no actual user seems happy about it.


Looks like they had trial limited release of it a couple months ago and that may be what I saw on one of my computers before managing to get it back to the regular one before.

It is designed to be heavily mobile friendly focused and it sucks serious ass on a desktop.

This is exactly it. New layout sucks, mostly because we can't scroll through the top stories anymore.

new yahoo email desktop version sucks as well. they keep changing shit all the time and it gets stuck or slow.. fuck
