yahoo search problem with ie5

Every search result from yahoo if I click it, the page will not load. I get the "web site found, waiting for reply" message but it just stops there.

You know how the yahoo search results put in their own address before the actual site address? Like this:
http://srd.yahoo.com/S=2766679/K=co...821/H=1/*-http://www.howstuffworks.com/pc.htm

All the stuff before the howstuffworks url. I found out that if I remove all that stuff and just type in the actual site url into ie, then the page will load.

However, Opera has no problems loading the links directly.

I'm using Win2k with Sp3.

Any ideas?

Any proxy or firewall software that IE is going thru but Opera isn't?

No proxy or anything. Just connected to the internet through cable modem. I have ZoneAlarm installed. Both have permission to access the internet. I tried closing ZoneAlarm but still the same.
