Yahoo seems not to give a d*mn at all and, together with msn was the first one to give the feds information about what people search on their engines...google AT LEAST denied the feds this.

Nevertheless, Yahoo, msn AND google all bow down to the dictatorship in communist china, yahoo even responsible for bringing a chinese blogger in jail for 10 years (because they released his real name to the chinese authorities). "We were only complying with local law". NICE LOGIC !

If they were to have profitable branches (and that's what it is all about: $$$) in hitler-germany they would probably ALSO have given away names for people to be either killed (or imprisoned)...and just because their fear of losing profits is WAY bigger than their morals. ANd the comparison hitler-germany <--> china is not even THAT far off btw.

Congrats to google, yahoo, msn and cisco for standing behind words like "human rights", "free speech" etc...... NOT

I know this probably has been posted already 1000 times but i just wanted to rant. Corporate america and the greed of big companies just sucks and here it is evident that a human life/freedom is the last thing on THEIR list.

its the price of business I guess...after reading that one thread on apex, I don't know if I'd ever want to do business with China.

EDIT: might be P&N, but we'll let the mod decide.

It's simple. None of the companies wants to lose China's money. So they will be inclined to cooperate with what their customer wans.
