Yahoo Messenger for Vista coming soon

I was actually impressed, & i really didn't expect to be at all.

Tabbed chat windows is nice, not to mention that it integrates well with the Sidebar in Vista.

Looks pretty darn good! I like the MSN client for OSX, MUCH better than the Vista/Windows version (even though that's far superior to earlier versions). But i like this look a lot. Too bad i and nobody i know uses Yahoo.

So it's just like Trillian 3 only with Vista feature support and its restricted to Yahoo only and it probably uses more memory as well. Looking forward to Trillian Astra myself...

Just an FYI... The current Yahoo IM client will work in Vista fine. I don't have Vista installed on my drive anymore but I was using Yahoo Messenger with it a few months ago. When I read the thread title I thought it meant that Yahoo IM doesn't work with Vista at the moment.

Gaim already has tabbed chat windows by the way. The new look of Yahoo integrated with Vista does look pretty slick though. Call me an eye candy lover but I like Vista's look.

I don't know about the one linked to, but Yahoo's 8.x version is, it can talk to Microsoft Messenger people, so it's multi-chat client.
