Like many others I have a Yahoo mail account and I have noticed
what I consider anomalous behavior. When in my spam folder and after selecting the e-mails for deletion I press the delete button a prompt window will pop up to confirm that I want to delete these e-mails. OK. However when I do the exact same thing in my inbox there is no prompt, the e-mails are simply deleted.

The stuff in spam goes away permanently. The stuff from your inbox gets moved to the trash and can be recovered for a period of time.

Oh. No kidding, I've never emptied the trash so I never noticed that. I actually sent a feedback response to Yahoo and complained about this oversight. I haven't heard back from them. They probably chose not to respond to my inquiry so to avoid embarrassing me. Assuming somebody at Yahoo even read the feedback. Thanks for straightening that out for me.
