Meh.. If you have that much email you really shouldn't rely on someone else for it.

yahoo sucks...gmail rules, simple interface, fast, easy to use, non-invasive ads, and they even give me entertainment occasionally...

Too little, way too late. Most common users will not be approaching the 1-2gb limits anytime soon, so their storage is already unlimited for all intents and purposes.

Google succeeded in getting the preemptive first strike by originally setting the bar at 1gb in an era of tens of mbs, and forcing the others to follow.

I have two Yahoo accounts and only one Gmail account but I never really use the Yahoo ones, just enough to keep them active.

If you "tag" emails properly (easiest thru rules), you can click the tag name and have all results appear just like clicking a folder. Benefit being, emails can have multiple tags at once, as opposed to being either in one folder or another. Google ftw ;)

Their labels would be fine if I could make a hierarchy like I can with folders. Until then, folders > labels.

I wonder if Yahoo is going to limit the amount of that unlimited storage that can be used for attachments... because if not they're really inviting abuse.

GMail = sucks *ss
Y!Mail = Rocks with the new beat interface.
Live.com = Pile of S1ht

btw... Gmail's success shud be measured by the # of signups since they opened compared to others from that Date.

I'm a gmail user, but I like the new yahoo interface. I really wish gmail would add a tabbed view for messages like the new yahoo interface. There are many times I need to have multiple emails open, I hate having to sign into gmail multiple times to do it. Also, I've never gotten used to labels instead of folders.

Users are subject to Yahoo?s abuse policies, which requires users to follow ?normal email practices? and not engage in activities like using Yahoo mail for basic online storage (a number of services have popped up to help people use Gmail for this purpose). Abusive accounts will not be summarily deleted - users will be notified by Yahoo and/or accounts suspended, but users will still have access to the data.
