edit: Description-YPOPs! is an application which emulates a POP3/SMTP mail server and provides free POP3 and SMTP access to Yahoo! Mail. It does not depend on Yahoo's POP3/SMTP mail server. You can use a mail client of your choice!

wtf is with this crap? every time i login to my yahoo email im getting a different interface. good thing they've decided to beta test on the users rather than on a spare machine :laugh: very odd!
 
Yahoo email is very slow today. Increasing email size to 100mb does not need only storage, it also needs much more email server traffic and bandwidth because people are connecting to Yahoo email server for a long time when they are uploading their big attachments. Don't know if Yahoo realized it before today, that's why Yahoo email server is so slow today.

Thanks for the yahoopops link. I had no idea about this! Now I don't have to keep logging in over and over to check my 3 diff yahoo accounts!
 
for a moment, i thought yahoopops wasnt working. turns out i needed to log in through webmail to acknowledge this upgrade.

Hmm... now with 1GB from Gmail, and 2 100MB accounts from Yahoo!, I now have 1.2GB of storage space online besides my 500MB from 1and1... 1.7GB of backup, woot! 😉
 
First I was gonna mock all the people bitching about slowness for one day during the release. Then I realized some people probably use Yahoo! as their main e-mail account. So I'll give everyone a break.

Second, I don't get any Spam at Yahoo! Weird. I always got spam at Hotmail.

Third, I definitely prefer gmail, but it doesn't pop. Since I won't go to full-on webmail, it completely ruins the deal for gmail. Of course, I'm sure they'll add pop mail soon.
 
I'd think Microsoft would have given Hotmail some cash to give each user 5 GB of storage or something by now to compete with gmail...sucks that its still at 2 MB...🙁
