Right after I switched the marketing preferences for yahoo, I opened Eudora to check my email and it gives me an error that it cannot connect. Really cute, yahoo :|

Hmm, I remember you had to agree to receive some kind of marketing emails when you signed up for yahoo's pop3 access, perhaps your change disabled the pop3 access. Doesn't matter anymore-- they are beginning to charge for it very soon, so if you want pop3 access, you will have to pay.

Thats funny, I got an email from Yahoo saying they had reset my preferences with a link to change them. It took me all of 20 seconds to change them back.
