Hmm, I remember you had to agree to receive some kind of marketing emails when you signed up for yahoo's pop3 access, perhaps your change disabled the pop3 access. Doesn't matter anymore-- they are beginning to charge for it very soon, so if you want pop3 access, you will have to pay.
