Yahoo has taken my browser over!

Yahoo has taken over my omnibox. I use Google Chrome and I am at wits end.

1) I've tried everything. I ran spybot, bleach bit, because I thought it was a malware issue.

2) I've deleted my browser history and anything else related to my browser.

3) I've searched for the yahoo folder and deleted it.

4) I've gone into settings, manage search engines and deleted yahoo. I then put Google as the engine I want to use as my home page and ominbox. It works in the beginning but then Yahoo always finds its way back.

For people who don't know omnibox is just the address bar at the top off the browser.

Any help would be appreciated.

I tried searching the registry and Yahoo came up. I deleted it and hopefully it's going to work. I also deleted it as an option in the omnibox section. Previously I was able to do this but it always found a way back.

Try Spyhunter, thats how I repaired a hyjacked browser also.

Are you using the free version, or did you pay for it? I have it downloaded and it's asking me to pay for it.

It looks worthwhile. I don't know if I want to put down $30 dollars.

Thanks.
