Just saw a crawler on CNN that Yahoo was hacked and 450,000 passwords were posted online.

I haven't used Yahoo since 2004. Pretty sure that had a unique password, but I'll have to go double check when I get home.

I could never get my password reset or retrieved and I emailed Yahoo about it. Apparently I called out too many morons on the Yahoo Answers site and they shutoff my account. Don't give a shit about that, but in order to login to my Flickr account, it has Yahoo authentication. Fuck Yahoo.

ahhhh fuck, even though I never use anything Yahoo except their bookmarks toolbar, I made it the same passwd as other sites (of equal importance)... but I'm only gonna change Yahoo's. This is just a "wake up call" to Yahoo. Plain text? WTF.

Please. Nobody has a yahoo account for anything thats truly important. Maybe email in which case they should get on and change it right now, but I doubt this is really going to do much harm to any one.

Please. Nobody has a yahoo account for anything thats truly important. Maybe email in which case they should get on and change it right now, but I doubt this is really going to do much harm to any one.

I actually use my yahoo account as my main email.

I change cable companies every year or so, so i never use there emails.

I been to sites that ask you to log in using your E-mail as the user name. Most people will use ths same password. Even if you change the passoword for yahoo there could be other sites that could still get hit. Amazon asks you to use your E-mail to log on and yes I use my yahoo E-mail for Amazon. I ran the check and it says I'm safe.
