i wish i knew, my autodraft public league took Pittsburgh in the third round...I love Pittsburgh, but not a team D in the third round!

Yeah... my roommate had to autodraft and got very similar results.

He said he was really happy for the first few rounds, then it picked:
4th: D
5th: Backup QB
5th: Backup D

Ouch!

what happens if you prerank all the def and K below all the position players?

just go through your autodraft picks and remove all kickers from the list. hopefully, you end up with no kickers/defenses and you can drop whomever to pick those two up.

Depends on how the draft goes beforehand. I missed the first two rounds of my draft, so they were autopicks. Managed to grab Peyton Manning and Greg Jennings in those two rounds. By the time I popped on looking for RB's though, 3rd round was sad for me. I ended up picking my defense in the 8th anyway as did one other live draft person. 9th round saw one more, and all the live people had picked kickers by the 11th/12th rounds, with the autodrafters going in the 13th.
